A Starboard Element 9'8 sup and an oldish Starboard carbon paddle were taken from the foreshore at Carrum beach on Friday evening. The board is less than a year old has a large Jimmy Lewis centre fin (see photo) and no side fins. The board was on loan to my brother for the summer who is living on the beachfront at Carrum. The board has quite a lot of black skuff marks right along the rails and one big one on top of the tail. The paddle has a bit of damage on the edge of the blade and quite a few bumps in the surface of the blade. My brothers family have been totally stoked riding the board over the summer and now feel totally shattered.

If anybody sees or hears anything please let me know. A reward will be offered for its return.

Thanks Alan.

Did you get any close-up pics, with the serial number? Is there a serial number on those?

I've never really had a fully close look at those Starboard SUP's. Does that deck grip go all the way through to the nose? For some reason I thought that design was on the board, but it seems to be the grip pattern.

That sucks - I know having been on the receiving end of a board "disappearance" myself. However, word was spread through this forum and it (my board) turned up a few days later - a little worse for the wear - but in one piece.

All power to Seabreeze - and hopefully your board will turn up as well.

I think there is a serial number but I didn't get the details.

The deck grip does go all the way to the nose which makes it a great family board for jumping around on.

Hi Alan - hope you get yr board back. That sucks. Hd a mate who had his car broken into last Monday and they stole his front seats would you believe. Even the police thought it was funny when he called them up to report the incident.

Lots of good people on this site who will keep an eye out for it.

Al, I send out details to the SUP Vic member list. Hopefully this may help.
Fingers crossed it turns up!
