So Pinnies is now an island!!
Probably has been for ages??....I haven't been back up that way for yonks.
Used to surf it heaps as a grom back in the days when it was joined to M'dore beach.
I bet the caravan park crew are getting nervous!

Been quite a few years since it washed through. I remember as a grom seeing it happen. I heard there were some epic banks back in the day?? Any pics deano?

With the dredging about to happen in the river I expect some knarly changes that probly are not in council plans....

Yeah used to get sick banks out off Pinnies....used to get more swell than anywhere else along the beach.
Was good fishing too off the rocks.
No pics.....was back in the days when you went to the beach with nothing but pushie, board and a pair of boardies. Used to ride up the beach from Sharks on a low tide. Good times!!

Edit:
Council are bound to stuff it up but might be some good banks for a while
