Looks like fun!

I'm staying at Noosa with my wife in a couple of weeks. Where's a good place to SUP if there's no waves at Noosa?

HI Trev's away on school camp at the moment - could another local stand up paddleboarder give some advice please. I'm just the mother! Thanks Di

Are you looking for surf/waves or flatwater? I'm assuming surf so if theres no waves at Noosa Main beach or the Noosa points head over to the Eastern facing beaches (Sunshine, Peregian) these beaches pick up more swell than Noosa most of the time.

If flatwater is your thing or it is super windy you can do a nice paddle in Noosa River, lots of protection in there and plenty of spots to launch

Thanks for the advice. Yes, I'm after a surf - not much into flat water. Will check out Sunshine & Peregian.

Peregian is a long stretch if I remember correctly. Any particular spot more accessible than another?

If you have a car you can access most spots, theres plenty of beach access points/tracks along the entire (20km) stretch from Sunshine to Coolum. Buses also run all the way along David Low way which skirts the coastline so if you need to go via public transport you should still be sweet

Hopefully conditions at Noosa will be good when you visit.
