My local was 3-4 x overhead and closing out.
Some decent waves heading north I would think

My local was 3x overhead and closing out too.
I had to surf "the roy" - how embarrasing, don't tell anyone. Actually there were some really good ones on the low tide - best I've ever had it actually.
bring it on baby!!!!!!!!
just got in from a surf on a south facing beachie
and its only 3ft on the sets
tomorrow is looking good with light offshores for the morning "bed ****ters club meeting"
bring it on
It has gone even more nuts here in the last couple of hours, probably the biggest swell for a couple of years.
sick goatie
i was talking to the boys that this winter has been great for waves but we havent had many killer big swells yet
finger crossed it marches up the coast a bit this arvo
so i can blow the cobwebs of my big red rhino chaser
We've got a big lake out front at Kawana,Swell models not showing much getting round the corner and into us for the next few days
hahahahaha
just dont **** the bed goatie and you can get up around 7am half tide on the rise
like all us lazy pricks do
All around home, sorry for the quality but they are off the phone. tomoorw early is shaping to be epic!
going to go see if i can get some footage of goatie spewing that gun i was going to make myself isnt even thought of not. It is really really big here ATM.
Casso call me if you can surf the early i no somewhere which will be alltime.
Lucky Bastards , look forward to reading ,seeing all about it.I hope we get some up here , i doubt it though.
Went to go for a late at a known big wave spot near manly, but a dead low tide and an exposed ledge didn't seem too sensible 2 days before the Maldives[}:)]
Hanging out for the morning. The swell is super south so will be surprised if you get much on the Goldy I'm afraid.
Here's a shot of a place from today that is completely protected from the Sth swell and is lucky to get to 4 foot:
Scored early at Nobbys reef Newcastle.Lots of water moving around and had to walk back to the clubhouse after each ride as there was no way I could paddle back out at the reef,I would have called it about 8ft on the sets.
Got a bit scary being the only person out though and the wind was starting to move around to the south so I called it a day at 7:30am. Kept me buzzing all day.
For those that frequent the Bay in the Hacking it was running from the end of the point just off Hordens Beach through to Bonnie Vale sometimes connecting all the way through into the middle of the bay
Longest waves I have ever had, even longer than Noosa...Funnest sup session I have ever had
Good 3ft and occasional bigger on the sets, lots of waves, never seen it like that before
And I heard the best drop in excuse ever...
A ski rider drops in and I catch up to him on the shoulder and he says sorry I cant turn the thing...As I watch a perfectly good wall run off down the line...I cut back inside and it reforms and it walls up again so I start running down the line again and I catch him again and he repeats the same excuse...lol...you just had to laugh
Home is terrible.
Everywhere is one foot, blue bottles, choppy mess. If you are planning on coming down here I wouldnt worry about it. Its terrible LOL
Hey
swell arrived on the Goldy this morn 3-4 foot I surfed snapper this morn and counted 75 heads between snapper and little Marley by 8 oclock, there were 2 suppers out 1 trying to take off in close at snapper, I would of hated to see the carnage if he had of lost his board in amongst the pack
cheers boof
i just came back from a sup mission up the coast about one hours drive from home left at 4.45 am and wow it was so amazing some of the longest and best barrels i have ever seen in oz was all time i saw my mate on a wave ski get at least a 5 second plus barrel was epic cant believe the waves today!!!!!!!!!!
