Hi there, long time no post. I'm visiting your beautiful country for the first time and will be based in Sydney for five days from the 23june - I was hoping I could paddle with some locals, get some local knowledge and make some new friends. Cheers for any info ,help, replies, Seano.

P.S - would happily return the favor if you ever visit Raglan, NZ.

Seano, are you going to be in the Northern Beaches, Eastern Burbs or South?

HI, yes its pretty cold at the moment, thanks towball.
BenKirk -
I will be staying at my sisters who lives and works in Sydney. She lives in Lewisham - thats kinda central isnt it? Hope to borrow her car if she has one that works, otherwise public transport, gonna be interesting for a small-town NZ boy from Raglan.

Im not bringing any gear other than a wetsuit - hoping to buy, demo, rent something over there.

The whole idea of the trip is to get a short break from work, catch up with my sister and finally get over to Australia..... Ive travelled around the world a bit but never got around to hopping across the ditch.

Cheers Mark.

What are some good places to SUP around sydney without upsetting any surfers or lifeguards?

I'm sure doggie will post plenty of pics on sheep tomorrow when he is back at work.
Poor K9 doesn't have internet on at home - hence no weekend postings.

Edit: Ozsup are located at Rose Bay on Syd harbour which is easy to get to on train from Lewisham. Belly hires Sups out and it's a good spot protected from most winds.
