Hi there, long time no post. I'm visiting your beautiful country for the first time and will be based in Sydney for five days from the 23june - I was hoping I could paddle with some locals, get some local knowledge and make some new friends. Cheers for any info ,help, replies, Seano.
P.S - would happily return the favor if you ever visit Raglan, NZ.
Glass off Baxter told me it gets a bit cold in Raglan
If you have a car and fancy heading north 1.5hrs I can happily help you out
Here are a few from yesterday arvo...
HI, yes its pretty cold at the moment, thanks towball.
BenKirk -
I will be staying at my sisters who lives and works in Sydney. She lives in Lewisham - thats kinda central isnt it? Hope to borrow her car if she has one that works, otherwise public transport, gonna be interesting for a small-town NZ boy from Raglan.
Im not bringing any gear other than a wetsuit - hoping to buy, demo, rent something over there.
The whole idea of the trip is to get a short break from work, catch up with my sister and finally get over to Australia..... Ive travelled around the world a bit but never got around to hopping across the ditch.
Hey Seano,
you can drop into Jamieson Park Paddle, The Esplanade on Narrabeen Lake, our number is 02-9972-9612, give us a call, we have many boards to choose from, i would be happy to take you to a few of our local breaks for a SUP Session.
