Hey RR hope you guys are all safe - I just heard there were homes lost at Dunally ! Hows Lewisham and Sorell ?

I surfed Bridport rivermouth this morning on the new JP 10.2 - very small surf be geez the board goes well in a currenty and fast rivermouth wave - so so impressed with it. Gunna hit it again tomorrow and let the bratz loose for their first sup sesh.

thanks BB,we are back home. A before and after shot, not our place, but just up the river from here and alot have gone between here and Dunalley.
got the nod last night to get ready to leave, so put the stungun on the car and filled the eski, sat round drinking beers and watching the big night display with the neighbours, then the police turn up at 11.00 and tell us to get out, spent then night in town and 2MT gave us the nod this morning that is all ok to come back home, don't think it is over yet, but feeling pretty safe here for now.

Finally got the girl out on the JP - she blitzed it - a coupla small wobbles and 3 splashes in total and she is hooked. Beautiful day to learn at Bridport, with only a very slight wind chop and very very warm water and 30ish degrees - great day out and topped off with a tasting sesh at Bay of Fires winery on the way home.
Ahhhhhh this is the life.

Top day for paddling today down here to BB, surf bit ordinary though, my 15yr daughter asked to got for a paddle this arvo so put her on they 9'mcintosh for a couple of ks, seemed to stay upright better on it than you, now she is keen to do the sup race at the regatta on it, be pretty crazy if she won the female division on a 9'mcintosh !

Tony - to have a wave classic we need waves, and theyve been almost non existant of late - like tassiedevil Im starting to get fat !!!
Have just discovered Bridport bar tho - a bit sketchy but waves waves waves. I definately wouldnt be hanging my legs off a mal in there though - lots of "fish life" evident.

keep off the KFC and out of the Bridport HOTEL bar and you shouldn't have any problems with weight.

the Dodges Ferry market is on again this Sunday, you can pick up a "TassieSUP" tshirt from Eve at the Sea Urchins Design stall if you haven't got one yet, it's also a nice spot for a padde.

Hi all,

I am moving to Launceston in a few weeks to study at the AMC and am keen to meet some people to paddle with.

I am hoping to do some training paddles / downwinders as well as some surfing on the weekends.

If anyone is interested or knows some people in the area I could contact that would be great!

Cheers,

Mitch

We can no longer refer to BB as the KFC King, he is in the process of moving back to the city where he grew up, a good hour from any surf !

Are you still a psh-- team rider ?
We are gunna start sponsoring ourselves mate - you left too soon and have missed out on the big $ that the committee is throwing about - best part is that we dont have to sell our souls to be on the team !

Hey Croozen

Saw you and Isobel on TV last night
chasing those short fin dolphins around Qld.

Very interesting

Post a few images so when they migrate south,
due to global warming, we'll recognise them down
here in Tas.

G'day Bigman.

I heard it was going to be rebuilt
near the fish market, next to the bridge.

The Superbank was alltime OK+ last Sat
I counted 34 in the water at one stage.
But both right and left were working
so it wasn't too bad
We need an Arctic blast tho' to thin them down.

Can't wait for winter

Cheers
