Don't know about swapping days but can confirm that the BOP is open to all board sizes. There will be a under 14 class and an over 14. We figured that people who are travelling wouldn't want to bring 2 boards so it would be the case that most people would be racing the BOP on 14's.

Why is the local guy (Adam) doing the estuary run? Could it be quicker in a ESE?

Remember today is the last day to get your entries in online for the BOP and the Duel before having to pay the late fee for on the day entry.

Won't putting out bait attract more sharks or were you talking about SUPper bait

I must say it was frustrating to have to nominate ocean or estaury when registering, I do understand it does help the organisers plan where to put their resources on the day. Issue is that the registrations closed Wednesday and with a cyclone sitting in the north west it was always going to be tough choice. If there was some flexibility to change courses closer to race day it would of given the oportunity for all to have fun. Oh well, I've talk to the contact provide on the website with no compromise. I'll probably be qualified for doing the wrong course but at least I'll increase my chances of finishing and enjoying it.

I'll retract the last statement. The good people at registration this morning made the changes, easy enough. Cheers to the organisers

Good on the organisers for being flexible and allowing the changes.

I got stuck up at Lancelin partying on after the Lancelin Ocean Classic, so didn't make it.

Did most Travis and most crew go the Estuary or the Ocean?

A few photos from the BOP race yesterday. From all reports everyone enjoyed the races and there are already plans being hatched for more regular races like this. Pete Pridemore won all three races, followed by Dale.

There were a couple of Go Pros floating around so there should be some footage coming in the next few days.
