Hi All,
For anyone who has lived or even visited the ocean, this movie brings home the reality, of the force of nature and the ocean. The trailer makes the movie look a bit soppy, but it is anything but. Very disturbing!! Imagine getting hit by that 100 foot wave that Garrett McNamara rode and it being full of debris, cars, furniture, trees, building materials, makes for a nightmarish situation. You start to understand, just how bad it was. Kept me awake last night!!!
Loved the movie and the realism, you feel like you are there. Worth seeing it on the big screen.

Yes.. .. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/Take-your-tissues/

I've been rag-dolled many times and it seems like a piece of cake now.. Rag dolling in wave that's full of debris is a scary thought.

There are good movies.. and there are must see movies.. This is one of those rare must see movies.

Naomi Watts is amazing..

Also thought the young actor (Tom Holland) that plays her eldest son, almost stole the show.
