Great video! It's really good to hear all the natural sound effects for a change. The wide angle is a bit weird though: Found myself cocking my heat to one side trying to get a better view of the wave!
Thanks for posting

My 8'6'' was going that fast I had to do a lot of baby turns so it would'nt slide out. If the waves wear a little bit more hollower my board tends to bite better.

less people down there then i thought. do like to see footage of people coming unstuck - keeps it real. might not have been hollow waves but looked clean. good viewing

i looked this morning and it was crowded and barreling all the way. tempting as it looked, i believe it is best left to the shortboarders when it on like that and crowded. couldn't imagine a worse look than a sup board loose, flailing around cleaning people up

Is that a woody jack board? I like woody jack designs, he is definitely the quiet achiever in the sup design world.

p.s keep keepin it real DW

bit bumpy down here but still good waves

had it to myself this arvo just before dark

the missus has pulled rank and we have gutted half the kitchen and been under the pump to throw together a few units over the weekend

might be up that way next weekend as one of the missus's relo's is turning 18 and having a party in brisvegas

so might have to pop in for the supsa day

so order another half a pig for the BBQ boys

to be continued

G'day JonWest
Woody Jack is from Angourie you should see him surf a shortboard & a SUP he rips. Yep I did my homework when it was time to cut down from my 12ft a##l Annie SUP. Honolua had a SUP comp at Currumbin I was working for Surfing Queensland that day & checked out every SUP that was there on the day I liked Woody Jacks SUP the best so I got him to made me a 9'6'' went unreal so every time I found some money I'd cut down 9'0'' went unreal 8'8'' went unreal 8'6'' is my best board to date when I come back for Namotu island in Fiji I'll be looking at getting a 8'4'' but I'm going to be loosing 6 litres of foam so I may not be able to go smaller than 8'6''.
PS. you should see Woodys mate Kieran surf a SUP he's from Angourie I'll put money down Kieran is the bet SUP hotdogger in Australia & an allround nice bloke
see ya in da ocean

Looks like plenty of volume! Hard to keep abreast of all the different styles of boards.
