Presumably this board is to directly compete in the market for the Glide 14.

DJ and JC I'm looking forward to your comparison runs and testing alongside of each other.

A few more pics from today.

Jonathan has nicknamed his board 'Klinger'.. .. (Mash fans will know why).

There certainly seems to be heaps of volume in the first 1/3 of the board.
Looking forward to seeing how it goes in a decent DWder.

Is that because Jonathan likes to paddle in a dress?

Sure an elite paddler/machine would notice the the weight factor due to the lack of finish coat/colour.But can a novice or is it just a w-nk thing

i hope this board goes well because it sure looks as ugly as klinger in the water.
i can't quite get where starboard are going with these new models- a square edge on the deck nose, looks like they could,nt be bothered finishing the shaping.
i kept my mouth shut with 'the surf', which most of the local crew found disappointing after being pimped up as the bop board you had to have if you like to win.
anyway is it good, is it a match for the naish. a few reviews please
cheers

We didn't have downwind conditions to really test and compare the two boards in the conditions for which they were both designed. However in the flay water / no wind that we had available, you may be surprised by the comparative times. Video proof to follow.
