Thought I'd start a thread where you post about your surf that you had today whether it be good or bad. That way I can rub it in to the boys that are working at the moment.

Today I got up at sparrow fart to get the high tide as the banks are a little straight after the big swell that we just had. Clean offshore and a solid 3 ft of swell, I was surfing a nice little rip bank and becoming more and more confident taking off deeper behind the peak. Then the unthinkable happened, three surfers paddled out right on my spot, no hello or nod just tried to avoid eye contact. We were the only surfers within sight. I let them have it and paddled about 100m away where I picked up another half a dozen waves to their 1 or 2.

Happy days yewwwwww

at Makorori Point....a little lumpy from yesterday's onshore but I guess a 3 to 4 foot swell. A friendly mix of sups (yes towball was there) longboarders, a goat boat, Duncan on his kneeboard & even the occasional shortboard.
We all thought it was a very nice morning

At a very popular E coast (NZ) spot. Out at dawn. Tide was too full so waist to shoulder high waves were very fat. I was waiting for the rush of holiday makers so decided to count waves while I was by myself. Got 29 waves before the next guys paddled out!
Nothing great but waves all the same !

The bowlo has been good lately, but no i was around at casuarina. I would of loved to have tried a few of the starboard boards as the wife has given me the go ahead to buy a new board. Now I'm craving a zanzibar burger.

Hey clarky - boofy stole so many waves of us this morning he was delirious - we actually got brews from Zingara afterwards. Don't ever surf with him cos he's a wave hogging kook and generally not a very nice person I was about to paddle into a bomb this morning and I hear "hey bill is that johnno up there on the rock wall waving" I look up - "not sure boof" and when I look back the filthy bstd has taken my bomb and he's screaming down the line laughing Just as well I'm a gentleman or there would be some serious woopass handed out

The starbys were insane - I even managed to catch 3 waves on the little 8fter - oh my wordy though, I was working hard to stay outta the drink

What a sic morning of surf with a really good crew (well all but one )

A little smaller today, had a couple of mates come down to share some waves so of course they copped the obvious, you should have been here yesterday it was pumping. We all had our fill and then the boys went to kingy for breaky.

I wouldn't be so cruel, to purposely inform you of 3 to 4 ft A frame waves with a face so oily I could barely tell where the water was is just not my go. Did I mention the birds were chirping the dolphins were playing and there was bikini girls everywhere.
Anyway Roscoe has just rocked up and headed out, I'll have a quick bowl of cereal and head back out on the 8 footer ( because it's so glassy )

Sorry Piros your going to hate me. I gave Rob a dud surf report texting him that it was 2 to 3 ft. When I got out there I realized that it was a good 4 ft with the occassional bigger set coming through. My bad.

Karma got me though split elbow and big crack in board

Yesterday Supped angourie for the first time, had it to myself at 4 ft for about 20 mins Mid morning then the pack came out. It was as if they wanted someone to go out there and scare away jaws. After 30 or so triple mickey's and horsies at the blue pools with the kids I then had a quick surf at spookies.
