The video's of the "drive over the paddle" phenomenon has gone viral on social media outlets throughout the world... The Paddle Blade Association are warning this copy cat act will lead to many paddles being driven over without provocation...in a similar appeal in the media , The Man Cave Group are encouraging those who wish to build Bikini Bridges to continue...... just say'n Ok.... it all seems a little silly to me...

Hmmm, what do you call a Hooker's boss with chronic gastro?

....a Back Firing Pimp

Sorry I couldn't resist. Bad Dad joke.

PS - KeNalu Paddles look great, not sure if running over them really demonstrates their best qualities. I like Jim Terrell's test with the car jack though.

Interesting topic finding out the true strength and capability of a paddle before it would fail.I would think maybe a rigging supply company that supply wire ropes, shackles, chains and lifting equipment for cranes etc would have an idea where you could test the true strength of paddle, some may even have a testing bed themselves .

Concrete.....cement is a powder like binder, forming part of the concrete mix (including, but not restricted to water, sand and aggregate)

but was the truck full or empty? What was its GWVM?....oh and lots of tyres help reduce ground pressure. Infact you could probably run a 60 tonne tank over a paddle blade (approx half the ground pressure of a car!)

Be great to go to the local Concrete test lab ,, do a compression test to failure and get some real independent data.

Obviously the top range paddles would do well,,but how would the budget models stack up??

The budget models stack up well if you put them one on top of the other
