Interesting shot of state of the art yacht design, these guys spend millions to go faster than the oposition.
Look at the very fine displacement entry, flatening out to a planing stern, they fly down wind.
Also interesting to note the forward rudder. The ballast on the canting keel is slung on such a fine keel, lateral resistance is gained from the forward rudder. This rudder also turns opposite to the stern rudder for tight turns.
The 20' & 16' boards here have similar hulls
The recent 12'6 is even more Wild Oats like with a broard stern.

That's the first flat bottomed racing yacht that I've ever seen.. I wonder if it gets on the plain.?
