I am surprised, isn't anyone the least bit curious as to what the purpose of this crazy sup is, apart from storing doggies beers?

Looks like Santa's sup sled.. Maybe it's for disabled paddles.. or to take children for a paddle.. There's heaps of stuff spinning through my head..

O.K. You are all wrong. It's not a sup with a built in esky, nor is it motorised or a craft for the disabled!!!
It's an out there idea that will cross advanced shortboard riding with sup. I was approached to produce a sup that has come from the mind of Caloundra aerial whiz
Wade Goodall for his upcoming movie by the gang at Creative Destruction.
The part of the sup you guys assumed was either an engine or esky is actually a ramp like you'd see in a skate park with a flat top for doing skate type moves on a surfboard. Preferably on a long slow righthand point wave the sup will be paddled in and set a line, Goodall will then be jetski whipped at it and attempt to ollie up onto the ramp and rail grind off the front. It's a crazy out there idea that just may work, sure there will be much mayhem, destruction and quite possibly a bit of pain involved but above all it will be funny to watch.
I knew no one would figure the boards intended purpose, there will be more info and updates on the crazy attempt in an upcoming chapter on the website www.creativedestruction.com

Angouries Laurie Towner will attempt to pilot the sup first up but he hasn't ridden one before and I think it will be a bit of a big ask. As it is a Billabong production they may end up using either Luke Egan or Billy Watson. Wade is a pretty incredible surfer and an absolute master in the air and I think what he has planned is definetly possible. Time will tell but I only finished the board yesterday and its already with the boys down at Angas looking for suitable conditions for the attempt. Stay tuned !!!!!!!!

I think this is funny

I wonder how many times a shortboarder blazing down the line has thought of it when a mal or sup has dropped in or the shortie has caught up, just use the big rail as intended, GRIND!! But now we have a box to grind off!

I would love to see Wade do this as he would have to be one of the best fly boyz around other than Josh Kerr ect.

Well the board is now on location and they have some swell so we should be hearing some news of the first attempts any time now. I forgot to mention, though some may have guessed, all the fcs plugs fitted to the deck are for the attachment of Go-Pro cameras, these in addition to land and ski based photogs should make sure the action is recorded in all it's gory detail. Check it out when available on www.creativedestruction.com

Turns out none of them could ride it as a SUP. They tried to paddle it and as we know it sometimes hard to do that on a SUP. Especially with a trick box glued on the front.

I was free that day, could have paid me with a years worth of product to act as the crash test dummy to paddle the SUP while they Ollied onto the board.

Would have been fun sitting on that wake and getting speared like a Taiji Dolphin while those guys got funky...

Great vid and series though with Wade, worth checking it all out on the site.
