it was well said by Laird, maya obviously felt she was ready to be out there as did carlos, but considering its the 2nd time in as many years she has nearly died, their rescue techniques do leave a lot to be desired for as if she had been picked up properly the first time she would have been fine (more or less)
good on Carlos for charging but have to agree with Laird, i think he wiped out on the biggest wave ever surfed,
