Yoda @ 50 plus was taking off on waves that had the others heading for cover.
I saw one huge wave take a guy straight of the rocks in seconds as he stood there, he had no clue it was coming.
Yoda took a couple solid beatings but took it all in his stride.

Photo 1 he made the section easily Photo 2 rode out of it with the white water exploding around him.
When chatting to Dean after the session he said "I had to nurse the board through some of the sections".

Is that a 4 foot wave? Can't be more than 5 surely......always fascinated by people's wave size opinions
