Paddling the new 23" ace will be a breeze after standing on the ski.

Supped my tinny whilst yabbying over the weekend. Supped my cannoe 20 years ago. Supping is not that new to me.

"Supped my tinny whilst yabbying"

Only one of those words is a word in the States!

I had to look up "yabbying."
And I'm assuming a tinny is some sort of small metal boat.
Also, for whatever reason, we don't say "whilst" in the States. We say "while."

None is right or wrong. Just interesting...

That's because we speak English over here - with a generous mix of Aussie slang.

Tinny - aluminium hull boat - nominally 10ft-17ft with or without a small outboard motor, but the slang can go up to commercial size trawlers when you have bragging rights.

Yabby - I think (from watching seppo telly) you guys call them crawfish?

Do you think they (yanks) say crawfish because they watched too much Get Smart, "not the craw the craw"

I reckon if you keep supping and falling in the water where those pics look like they are taken you could probably get ready to SUP a bull shark!
