That's a beauty.. You doesn't get much better than that.. How glassy is that wave..
I'm surprised they left those last few seconds in the vid.. I don't think we'll see that vid on the Starboard site..

That's the reason dudes started putting 3 stringers in their boards...... an expensive wave !! Almost worth it !
Big Dave charges wonder how many boards he goes through
Come over Dogman would love to show you around.
yer sick last wave
i think a wave like that would snap or discintegrate any sup even if it had 20 stringers
might have to bring 10 or 20 backup boards for a westcoast trip[}:)]
by the way hilly i love your avatar sequence....how do you do the sequence thingy hilly
Rest my case.

Yes I agree most boards would snap in those waves, but thats what they are designed to be riden in they shouldn't. Mine wouldn't, but then again mine doesn't get blown off the face in a stiff offshore either. I do have to put up with the additional weight of my board though.
Simply if a board is designed for big waves it should also be constructed stronger to withstand the conditions. It's alright for Dave he can just go get another off the roof rack and get a new one when he gets back to Ozzy Park.
Flame suit on
Great ride, he looked so close to making it through,I bet he was still stoked.
Thanks for the footage dogman.
So I was wrong in the other thread, I admit it. It was actually a 7s barrel ... after some creative slo-mo editing .
