so for a few days after new years, i escaped the rat race and sup'ed cylinder beach with my mate john on north stradbroke island for a few waves and that was another story.
and we did put on our silly fishing clothes and got our spin rods and poppers and paddled out amongst the mangroves and we had a great time stalking fish and occasionally catching them.
sup's are good for lot's of things.
Have done similar over the new year witha mate on SUP. Set 8 mud crab pot by boat over a @5 to 6 km run and then checked them twice a day by SUP for a bit of fitness over 2 and a half days. Result was 14 keepers. Fitness and food all in one.
Will do this more regularly now. Balancing a bucket with muddies between your legs on SUP while lifting pots really helps motivate your balance.
