google earth - what surf spot is that?

Have a bit of fun working out these surfing location, will add a few more and if you have any favorites add for the rest of us to have a guess

I was checking out the west coast of Africa a few months ago and theres some unreal looking spots in the middle of nowhere.But the locals would probably try to cook you and eat you.

Here is one that has always fascinated me (sorry I had to crop so much of the land off, it was a dead giveaway.

Yeah I passed through there to Mac backpacking through Europe it was very windy and always heaps of windsurfers and kiters the Dutch love their wind sports

1st one bells
A bit of a clue for the 2nd one, people sometimes confuse the spelling
3rd south of Vic and were they hold some concerts nearby

1 - Bells
2 - i wish i knew, nice lookin wineries or orchids, Looks south west but Matt is a vic so say its over that way somewhere.
3 - Going on the principle of number 2, i say this place is around Phillip Island somewhere.

Last time I was there no wineries, just some bananas and paw paw

2nd overseas (how i would love to be there right now away from this winter)
3rd for those lucky enough to have surfed the place, will know (it's not a secrect but happy not to tell)

Hi Matt, hows that on trigger brothers website they have a webcam of imposso's in Bali, so in the morning when making that decision , second reef, gunna nah bugger it imposso's if only that easy

that was the 1st place i surfed when i first went to bali (indo)

This is the last clue 2nd island east of bali

Yep, superbank. The cropped bit had lots of lots of clues.

Someone working for Google maps must have gone to a lot of trouble to find a day that had surf as bad as that photo. Sure they need stable atmospheric conditions - but how bad is that day!



It makes me wonder about other aerial shots.
