saw on the tv some crew trying to pull a piece of colourbond ridge capping that was impaled into a surfboard with a cover on it

Just saw the destruction on the news , unbelievable that that no one was killed total freak of nature. Lennox has been declared a disaster zone. My brother has a place there which thankfully got spared.

If you want some help to put on a fund raising surfing comp Noel there will be plenty of us who will fully support it and help out.

Count me in to help that one as well Noel, anything I can help out with also.


I am planning the 100km paddle for this Monday. It was going to go from Ballina to Burleigh but I am going to change this to start from Lennox (so it will now have to end at Surfers).

If anyone has any ideas on how we can use this to raise money for the people of Lennox then please send them to me. 0428 228 428. Helpers will be needed to assist with the fund raising drive so volunteers would be welcome.
