this is my new custom sup it is made by ben mctavish and glassed by grb sup designs at kirra point it is 9'2x30x4 quad fin set up with resin tint colour super loose and fast cant wait to get it in some good waves
Anything out of the mctavish stable will be worth the money,great to see finally some outstanding local custom boards hitting the sup market.

Ben is the most humble guy you could meet. Still leaves his old car fully open, keys in the ignition even when surfing on the Gold Coast. He even leaves his thongs at the back.
Great guy to surf with, I have surfed with him a few times when on SUP and a lot more on shorty. I am surprised this is his first one.
If shaping skills are genetic which they obviously are Ben is one of the few last craftsman. One of the only young guys along with Dan McDonald that I know that can handshape, glass, sand etc. One man surfboard factories if they needed to be.
