Gee, letting the team down on this one. Had visions of posting a step by step photo essay on building my board. Instead just some random grabs.
Anyway, heres the board glassed up ready for filler coat. No shots of the special "lapping" on the new cloth.
Hope it amuses someone.

Nice work Lookie

I haven't done much with epoxy but I'm getting inspired to have a go

You may have already answered this but what weight glass/layup are you using and did you seal the blank before laminating?

Cheers Piros. Dimensions are 9'1 x 30 x 4.... im 6' 93 kg - about 115Liter.. Your more than welcome to have a spin on it when its finished. Ive still got the 9'3 as well.
Cant take credit for the workshop. i leave crap everywhere, when i come back its all magically gone

Trying a special layup this time with the "bullet proof" cloth. single 6 on the deck/4 on the bottom with a new rail lap configeration. Rocky the wonder Glasser is laying it up for me (i havent got that much talent and i dont want to get a rash on MY bits). Simon from DOLPHIN surfcraft is the brains behind the whole project. alway's working on a better end product for me.
Im lucky enough that ive found a local company that gives me high quality service and materials for the hard earned coin i give them. Perfect for the semi DIY board builder, plus Simon dig's SUP. Gotta love that.
