3rd pic down, is that Lacey's imfamous secret 14footer???
The thing on Dale's head was a shower cap with rainbows on it. All competitors were asked to wear something rainbow, to support the sponsor of the race Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation who raise awareness about organ donation.
Hey thanks so much Kristi they were great , you take better photo's than your ole man.
Great shot of Dale.
Rob
Thanks Piros It's actually Dad's setting that make the photos good, so I can't take all the credit, when really all I do is point and shoot
Great shots Kristi, captured the race really well. I was checking the surf in the background on a lot of them.
The event looks very professionally presented, can't wait to get up there.
Hi
Looked like an awesome event!
How long was it or how was it timed? The times are pretty fast for 5k.
Regards
Rob
"What would be a comparison time for a 5km flatwater paddle??? "
- at 9km/hr it would be 33minutes and at 8km/hr it would be 38minutes.
On a downwind here the fastest guys have averaged around 12km/h and on flat around 8km/hr.
I think we can safely say the course was shortened somewhat.....
