thanks guys!
the kid on the board was a classic he is only 4 years old and would paddle out standing up! Then he would get these waves straight onto the rocks on the shore and the board he was riding had no nose one fin and he basicaly ripped on it!!!!!!

Nice to see you got some good waves. Have they fixed the water supply for the showers yet?

DTM - GREAT photos - I'm interested in heading to PNG - for some waves / culture blast / snorkel etc - Interested to know how did you find that region and the local waves - consistent?? Can you surf all tides? Is there variety? Would you go back? Did you ride a surfboard too? etc etc. Any advice helpful -
Thanks
Lance

hey guys png is a eye opener its totaly different to anywhere ive been.
the waves were great for 3 days then it went small 1 foot still surfable but not much push.Tupira is quite a hard wave as it closesout on the end section onto dry reef and is quite a short wave so would be good for experienced suppers only i would think. The waves did get side shore a few times and the wind would swing around alot from day to day was always best in the morning much like everywhere else in the world. The huts were very basic with the water in the showers being cold or boiling hot and no presure at all. If you got swell the whole trip it would be epic but if not there isnt much of anything else to do but heat your arse of in the sun.As for going back im not sure on that one as likely head to bali as in my old age(30yrs young) im a bit spoiled and would much rather prefer my room service and massages. The people of png were very welcoming and the kids were truely amazingly funny and great company to watch as the sun set!

AA :susanne loved the kids and had fun but i dont think she was 100% sold on the place im gunna tke her to bali mid year to make it up to her so we can live it up there like kings.

lance: you can surf all tides and if i was going back i would likely check out a few different places maybe stay only a few days at each as i got a bit over the one place after a week just to mix it up a bit and no i didnt ride a shorty im 100% sup now!!!!
