Wow, those waves are big!!

The board that Robbie is riding is quite narrow when you see him sitting on it in the channel. Radical pintail too.

Definitely a production board that was being waxed up by the other guy before the big wave session.

Looks like there may be new Naish models in the development stage.

Great Niash vid link..Thanks.

I'm loving' my new Naish 10'6"...It's defiantly not a board for a first timer or a big person tho.

I wonder if Robby had that pointy nose pintail big wave gun board made for him to use at the Ku Ikaika big wave comp.

Also that's a good point that Robby makes talking at the end of that vid.

Words just can't describe how happy i am with my new Naish 10'6" !!

After riding a Kalama 11'6 (1 year) it has been an excellent board but i have been looking for a board that performs better in the surf .

Naish 10'6" has heaps of drive , and when you get back on the tail is really loose for easy cutbacks and reo's .... even noserides ok.

Glass off -recommeded to tune your fin set up , and in this case i agree there are better fins available than the production set supplied .I have just had a session with small G3 glass side fins and an 8" glass back fin that's got heaps of flex/release .......amazing result the board is now opened up a whole lot of opportunities !!

STOKED.

Hey guys, here's some pics of me riding the Naish 10'6"- just a case of right time, right place that I got the pics - a commercial surf photographer was taking pics of punters & I happened to be one of them!

Great pictures and good waves. Is it a beachbreak, point or reef? Is there a rip or a channel to paddle out in or do you need to slog it out through the impact zone?
