Nice Lacey, it just looks so different to DC's usual boards, you'll have to fill everyone in when you've taken it on a few runs.

Nice Lacey, very nice. Rails! And is that a little bit of concave in the middle or is it a trick of the light? Volume? We'll all be interested to hear how it performs DW...and on the flat.

mate , i assume you are talking standing positon, yeah, the paddler has been dropped in the board more with a much softer and flatter d/concave.

this board is going to be huge for dc and i'm coming off a bullet. too say i'm absolutely delighted would be an understatement

Soooo... How much do you want for it or am I too early. Really it looks unreal. Dale was paddling one in the creek and it moves along very nicely. I imagine it will be an absolute blast with some wind behind you

i think dale would shoot me. i went out in the creek mouth caught a couple of runners in.the further back i stood the more stable it became and great control.

when i paddle back to the boat ramp, it kept catching tiny tiny swells all the way back.

i just know this board is going to kill it on a dw run.

rager, going to paddle it tomorrow at training

I was looking at the bottom for a bit of concave...but that said a bit softer scoop in the standing area might be a good thing. I quite like the scoop in my Makaru but one nor two mates don't.

Looks like it will be a very responsive board for chasing the bumps on a downwinder and with what I saw from Dale it gives nothing away in regards to speed on the flat. Be good to see how you go in the morning. Just watch out for the OC fleet. Maybe tie a glow stick to the tail

i've been that far back on the 17'4 bullet at times.

for me dw ing is about being able to stand back as far as you can and still be getting runners.

also plan to do some surfing on it too

Hehehe yeah. I prefer to think that we "control the board from the centre"

The friend I bought my Glide 17 from had waxed the tail end behind the footpad, because he'd stepped back there and slipped off it a few times (but he can stand with both feet on the rail of my Atlas without tipping it)

So I trust you have dewaxed the tail so it looks better, wax is just so, so messy....

Sam P from Wind Surf Snow did the same thing to a mates Avanti stood both feet on the rail and didn't even tip it........feather weights couldn't bury a rail if they jumped up and down!

another point is often we have to come in through reasonable sized surf so you have to get right back to surf it in
