went down for a trip down south and got a mixed bag of weather conditions.Took the SUP, windsurfers and an old dusty booger.

Heres some words and pics.

droped into a local spot 1hr down the road...had gear in car...but had to keep going ....spewin...heres corey doing about to flip the rig and go clew first...

eventually got to surfers point and it was onshore chaos...pic doesnt do justice...but it would have been suicide here.

found a protected spot round the corner and went for a windsurf, maxed out on my 4.2.....got caught in the rip from one of the bigger waves out back...yikes a lot of water moving quickly.....decided to get the booger out and stay close to shore.

day 2, took murph 4 a walk b4 checkin out the conditions

look zippy, more storm fronts coming in....

went up the coast and found this protected area, windy out back, bit of protection on the inside....BIG waves.

even bigger waves on the other side of the bay.... no surfers here

DAY 3 - still a big swell running and still onshore strong winds....but found this place a bit of a drive away,, at last i was able to dust of the SUP, spent 4 hrs here, great wave but bit of an arse ache getting through the shorey on a sup.

close up.

DAY 4 - promised offshore winds and dying swell....well they got the offshore winds right..it cleaned everything out and showed the waves off in there full glory. the tiny little white speck on the wave is a surfer.

dont be a fool and obey the rule.

is that a ufo in the middle of the pic, a kite or a dolphin or what???????????

gagging for a sup, went south to have a look for some thing smaller....not happening. Been told this place is renouned for the 2 for 1 deal on your surf board. lines galore love it.

break across the road didn't look supable either ,...maybe for laird.

went back to the spot from DAY 2 and had the best SUP ever, big clean fat suppy waves..... stoked...never had so much fun and got well dialled in to my new JL .and it was my birthday aswell...BONUS.. supped for 5hrs straight then drove home. this pic taken at end of sesh when swell had dropped loads...honest ha ha

stopped of to have a look at perth break,,, even perth was having a good day....can u spot the fin????

Nice pics Miller. Big waves. Sucks it wasnt cleaner
Glad you scored some gold on your birthday

Hey DJ, getting waves, no matter what condition, is always better than getting glass
