Nice work Cammo. I bet those waves were a lot bigger when you were out there (than what they appear on the footage).

What editing program do you use?

Great Vid Cammo,

Even better to see some footage from around Margarets.

I agree with Casso, the Gopro has a wave reduction algorithm built in lol.

Lets see some more please.

Redgate, classic beachie. This was one of my locals for years, surfed this place at 6ft, off the old "georgette" shipwreck when the left hander gets a good bank, the right off the suck rock gets real good sometimes as well

Hey Brooko,

Be good to surf it while the girls slave at the Shire!!

All good here, Sarah stayed last week on way back from NZ.

Thanks for all the comments,

- Casso I used Imovie on a Mac. It's great and so easy to work with. I just opened the raw gopro file into it and cut it up from there.

You're right that the angle of the camera makes the waves look soft, it was actually overhead, need to play around with that, I think I had the camera to close to me.

The backlit sun in WA in the arvo is a bit of a pain as well

Yeah dazz haha, sure had some good surfs there whilst the girls were working

Cammo It looks a bit side onshore, as redgate barrels its tits off when its 3m and off shore.

Nice tunes, and looks like your surfing well, good stuff mate

thanks brooko, its not actually redgate, its 'pinballs', which is on the northern side of the redgate reef and headland, and then a further 1.5 kms towards boodjidup beach. Its a real hike down a full on cliff (esp carrying what my mates have starting calling my standup goat boat!) and onto a remote sharky beach. Its a great reef break with multiple peaks that only work in v large swell and all the beachies are closing out.

I've only ever seen fishos and the odd tow in crew down there..............

Yeah I know where you mean now, instead of following the bend around to the left towards redgate you just go straight ahead, I have surfed it a couple of times when every where else was too big, also walked to the south end of boodj that way a few times.

I reckon that outer bombie that breaks right in front of redgate carpark could be the go! Have yu been out there yet?
