Jake and Simon won the mullumbimby to brunswick mens and womens race respectively.

the 10 k race is a brutal affair with lots of dodgy shallow banks that seem to suck the life right out of the boards. a one foot water start( not that anyone could see the bottom) with river gravel rocks on the bottom had everyone checking out their paddles for damage after the race.

well done to the organisers for putting on a good event
cheers

Congrates on the win to both of you! Jake flew away from the pack and Simone showed why she is a force to be reckoned with beating people on larger boards with her Fanatic 12'6.

Well done Jake and Sim.

I heard Dale went OK on the new 15'6 proto wonderboard also. 2nd to 1 of the fastest kids in the country.
