That is when the ASP Quicksilver and Roxy Pro are on. The swell can range from tow in surf to flat. Weather can be Beautiful days to tie everything down theres a cyclone coming.

It is the end of the wet season , It may be dry but it may be wet , if there has been a cyclone recently you will not have to worry about crowded points , NO-ONE will be out in the surf, and a little after that beach breaks will be good ,then the swell will drop to nothing.

ps I don't think that photo above is "Goldy in Summer" as there are too many wetsuits and the water is too warm.
but i am sure that sharks live out there, again too warm (mostly) for white pointers
Bluebottles do get blown down with prolonged Northerly winds.

Meter maids are generally a lot hotter

March is equinox time and the weather changes with the season!!

Weather is unpredictable but I've taken holidays in March for the last 15 years and had great surf every year.

Anywhere from Sunny Coast to NSW mid north coast usually has unreal waves.

Over rated over crowded no waves

Nah,you will find some waves, its like a summer wonder land, but be warned its bloody hard to find a carpark near the beach

The crowds double with fine conditions,a lot of weekenders come down the M1 to enjoy everything
