the lack of waves. this is just getting out of hand. it hasn't been a good year in qld and this the time of year for small/no waves, but we haven't had waves for months. anything that does pop is gone next day. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hey Laceys - I looove small waves great for learning on. They get people like me out of the creeks and rivers and into the surf.

Yeah Lacey, all you have to do is pull on the 4/3 seam sealed wettie and booties and head down Vicco way. No problems with waves this time of year!

We had plenty of waves yesterday - you just gotta know where to look.

Sorry to rub it in ....but down here in iceland, we have had a great winter for waves....the cold is a bonus.....keeps the competition to a minimum.

Yep a great time to get off the Goldy.

There are a few haunts down the road a bit to still surf but typically this time of year if there's any swell and a South Change (and usually a thunderstorm to match it) drop what you're doing and go surfing 'cos it won't last long.

A great time of year to travel or have other passions.

Nah Pete, that's not me, I am still suffering from a Maldives hangover, didn't end up surfing Sat when the swell was on.

Hey Dean that stick looks new.
What size is it?
Looks about 20 > 30knots of wind there.
Getting heaps over this way as well.
Wildlife everywhere this winter.
