here is a piccie of my new weapon

it's 8'6 n very similar to MR.HANKY the brown xmas poo board but with the deck "ice cream scooped out" thus making it around 3inches thick n less under your feet while in a surfing stance

the result is a more responsive feel on the wave

this board "for me and my pie addiction" may have a little bit too much scooped out and as soon as i stop forward momentum its up periscope time and don a scuba tank

only had a few sessions on it in less than perfect waves but cant wait to see what it can do when we get some soon

here is a few waves shot from the drivers seat of my car while it rained cats and dogs over the xmas period

Nice clip. It's also nice to see that you had a few others in the water....those nice waves with no crowds and bad music used to really get me down.

Nice one Rog..... if you keep digging that foam out on the deck , you might have to back off on the pies.....

yo dudes thanks for the lovely comments

fin setup is simon anderson large sides(before i snapped them with my arse)

now using a 15 year old set of fcs G2 they are huge

with a 6inch fluid foil center pushed as far back as it will go in the box

what fins are everyone using????????? as i'm about to order a few new sets to replace all the ones ive snapped in the last month

by the way ive got into a bad habit of rocking up to the surf and leaving by helmet at home packed in my kitesurfin bag of tricks

Must have had a whole truck load of pies over the Chrissy break - massive sprays. Looks great Dogman.

My new boards have got Futures plugs on them - haven't had a problem with them at all whereas I had heaps of issues with FCS plugs ripping out of the EPS foam on my old boards.

I'm using these on my 8'5":

Front
Height: 4.62 in, 11.73 cm
Base: 4.40 in, 11.18 cm
Area: 15.21 sq in, 98.13 sq cm

Rear
Height: 4.71 in, 11.96 cm
Base: 3.38 in, 8.59 cm
Area: 13.00 sq in, 83.87 sq cm

...they go great.

nice looking fins guys

thanks for the tease

hi stevo

the board is 8'6 x 29?????? x 3?????????with the scoop but it would have been 4 1/4 maybe before it was scooped

measurements arent on the board and i havent really put a tape over it yet

it has a really heavy concave on the bottom and the scoop out is concaved as well which brings the thickness of the board under your feet to 3 inches roughly or even less

feels insane

yewwwwww

Hey Dogman, sounds like a good board- width to thickness ratio would make it feel a lot better under foot me thinks :D
