Both these should be glassed this weekend...the mintie is a 5'11 v-channel twin and big red is an old school single fin...wide point forward turned down rails etc
Nice work once again, can you turn the pic's next time I'm getting a stiffy.
neck
I'll paint the next one blue and call it the Viagra
Looking good Tux - although you really haven't given us much to go on
Keep up the good work and more pics would not be frowned upon

Sorry bro I will try to do better
some pics of those glassing stands would be good too!! I like the look of the rails on the red single!
Ok managed to get them glassed on Saturday...someone please remind me never to try and get two boards glassed and deck oiled all on the same day again....The glass job on the Mintie didn't go as well as hoped the v-channel made life super difficult and I ended up have to cut out some glass and have another go before the hot coat...the big red went OK and aside from a couple of wobble bits in the pin line I was pretty happy....still need to sand them and fit out the fins.....twinnie for the green single for the red....Glassing stands are a bunch of PVC T-pieces and PVC off cuts....They are good because I can break them down for more shed room
still looks wiked to me tux....
funny thing is i now understand the trauma and difficulties off glassing a board. i admire all you blokes even more.
i glassed the the deck of my new one last week. i had teena(the lady of many colours) give me some lessons and supervise my effort. it did turn out perfect in the end,BUT without teenas help i would have ended up with a 70/100 effort. i might be giving myself the benefit of the doubt on the scoring
im looking forward to doing a whole board from scratch now...apprehensive is another word, but excited nonetheless. thanks to all the crew that post these threads. now dont be to harsh when i start mine

Cheers bro...you will love it when you do one from scratch...your lucky to have someone to show you how its done...I have been working on youtube + trail and error!! These two have come out a lot lighter than my last one so I hope that means I am getting better not that I forgot to do something!!
mate i was super lucky. being taught all the tricks and techniques from someone who is at the top of the game. even then its hard. eg my right arm does not bend or move properly,so for what i was being taught,we then realised i had to do the opposite thats why i freak at the goodness you blokes do. exceptional....plus ,besides being extremely high and with a strange yet slightly erotic feeling even with my eyes burning....it is something im pretty stoked about
