Yesterday after a nice morning surf with mac, blair & asea, mac & I headed over to see Steve Del Rosso to watch the new 10' Clearwater come to life.
Before we got started though we made time for a little cruising around the carpark.

Boards taking a rest.
Steve designing the board on the computer prior to shaping.
Blank ready to go into the shaper.
Out of the shaper it was time for the sanding & fine tuning the design.
Profiling the nose & tail
Mac begging Steve for all his little design secrets to take back to McT
Marking fin positions
Steve & Teena
Done & dusted & ready for glassing
A few arty shots.
Random fact the board volume equals 256 cans of beer.
So glassing & tinting will hopefully be next Tuesday so more pics to follow.
Nice work to all involved. I loved that pic pick of the shavings from the stringer....lovely.
That board looks the ducks nuts - what you doing for colour?
Farken superb condition that Mac fella is in wow buffed up & packing guns ..... oh and that board looks the shizz mate , how bloody fine is this thread champion
Wow, thanks for sharing. Those dimensions get me thinking about getting a summer board ready sooner, rather than later!
Mr Vanders - that is mint , absolutely great looking girl I love your colour choice - very striking with the bands - can't wait to see her polished up now - wicked wicked wicked
thanks for that....good to see how yr colours were done....i did mine differently but they still turned out ok Although a little different to I intended. I will be doing it that way next time!!!!
Wow, love it!! Board looks great and she does some amazing resin work! One of the best in the country in my opinion!
Can't wait to see it finished, I love a striped board, especially with green in it. Hope it goes great Vanders. Is that your beautiful Redline on ebay?
Spiro
Thanks guys, yeah I decided at the last minute to go a little more subtle that originally planned but I like it. Teena is just a wiz at tinting, some of the other boards she's just done look amazing, I should have taken some pics of them.
Anyway I'm hoping to have it all finished & ready to go in a week or so.
I also have to say I can't speak highly enough of Steve & all the staff at Clearwater, they've been fantastic to deal with, nothing is too much trouble & the quality of product is spot on.
Spiro, yeah that's my redline on egay.
