Obviously a long way off longboarding or surfing in general but interested to see if anyone is as nerdy as myself. Noticed a few are into RCs etc and was wondering if people are into PCs.

Here are the specs of my rig I built march last year for around $1800:

CPU: i5 3570k overclocked @ 4.5Ghz.
CPU Cooling: Noctua NH-D14.
GPU: Gigabyte HD7970 Ghz Edition.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 1600 Mhz 8Gb (2x4Gb).
Storage: Plextor 256Gb SSD and a 500 WD Green Drive.
Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4.
PSU: Silverstone Strider 850w Silver.
Case: Aerocool Xpredator Devil Red Edition.
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95.

If there is anyone out there, post up your rigs!

On another note, I recently got my 9'2 log from ECS, fantastic board but I will post another thread regarding that with photos!

Bahaha, no I don't bake cakes, I make pizzas though.

I guess alot of the guys on here are old kochers who couldn't even turn a PC on! And being old is the reason for the mals! Nothing wrong with that though!

i can make a cake or a pizza but prefer steak

i surf a mal because if i didnt i would surf once every 6 months... we have small swell most the time where we live and love it...

i have run a search engine marketing company for over 12 years ( you were what 4? then ) and dont use a pc... hence dont need to know how turn it on...it doesnt need to be turned off to start with

but thanks for the encouragement Tom

Tom, the 1/10 Blitz is about $440, plus $130 for a good quality battery and charger.

My 1/5 scale HPI Truck in Computer Speak;

CPU: 2.40GHz communication, 2200 KV Motor, Flux Tork, Blur Speedo.
RAM: Front Ram Bar is about 7-8 inches wide.
RAM FORCE: 10kg x velocity squared
Storage: It's a Big Truck - heaps of storage! Including 2 x LiPo Battery packs, with hard case holders.
Chassis: Twin Aluminium Beams, with polymer fibre bracing frame for combined rigidity, and flexibility upon impact.
Display: LED Headlights, and if this is charging towards you, run out of the way! FAST!
