I had the camera in my pocket yesterday arvo as I was on the hunt and while I was scoping out longy, I saw the restored ex Qantas Constellation doing low circuits of the headland for reasons unknown. and for reasons unknown I took a few pics of it.
Then as I was looking at the pics I realised that one of them gave a reasonably good indication of the bommies I like so much.
If you look at the surf school group (yuk), inside bommy would probably be about 200 metres in front of the furthest kook out. You can see an small breaking line.
Then if you look on the far right of the pic you can just see a white cap in roughly the location of the usual outside bommy.
There's sometimes even more of them further out.
Pity they weren't working.
Now this pic really upsets me, the guy with his back to the camera is TC getting ready to go home.
Look what he's got on the roof.
There should be a law against it
Mate he bloody charges on those cheating boards, more upsetting is, he is showing his age by driving a Volvo
Nice car
Keep the pictures coming I was going to take some last week but left the camera at work
It's one of those wetsuit type of head protectors that help protect the ears, I think he was just trying it on for size.
They're a good idea, especially if your a bit concerned about exostosis but I do admit that you look a bit of a tard when you're wearing one, well that guy did anyway.
I'm sure Nice meant that in the nicest possible way
Hey mac, yes it looks a bit onshore and rainy there where you are, i could tell you how good its been here with the all day offshores and a crankin 2.5 mtr swell but i won`t, hang in there and don`t do anything silly eh, Thurs lookin ok for you?, and we don`t want any more injury excuses, .....savy
Yes, it's almost 6am and I've been awake for hours because of all the wind. That's the last time I make cabbage and onion pie for dinner
Oh, and it's really blowy outside as well.
Not expecting too much joy today down at the local.
