I don't mind the boxes, like the ones leaning up, saw a good one like that yesterday. http://blog.roxy.com/2008/03/hand-painted-roxy-surfboard/
Maybe get the sunset colours and fade them out into each other bottom half from tail dark orange than fade into the lighter orange than white at the nose. Kinda like they 90 flame fade out sprays.... **** description, I'll see if I can find what I mean.
Edit kinda like, this But then have the yellow fade into white at the nose. Or however far up you want the spray to go

Good work Mac!
Mac, if you know where your back foot is going to spend a bit of time, next time it might be worth taking a 1/4" off the deck, and a tail patch, so you have a mini step deck under the back foot.
Low rails sound good.
Reference for other people, 3" thickness on McT's isn't actually quite 3", once they throw in the bottom concaves, chines, etc. So when ordering, if you think you want 2"3/4, then you should really consider 2"7/8. Similar, if you are thinking 2"7/8, just go for 3.
Brilliant! TF...
Kinda wish I was foot loose and fancy free too... I have a week off next week, come home, and work from the home office... Flight routes through The Goldie, and I wish I could just ditch the Melbourne legs and hang out on The Goldie for the week!
