Looking for some art ideas for the cruiser 90's Hawaiian inspired.
I have been toying with some Hawaiian fabric inlay but not sure where to have it placed.Another idea is from photos of the opening of The Eddie I've seen.
Who is your top Hawaiian surfer from history not today?
This is the same style inlay, but it is a fabric inlay...
Looks pretty nice in action too!
I would do some classic glassing like my Pin Tail, but with this inlay template.
Buttons was my early fav for his 360's n beautiful flowing style.....others of note JBG for his tough guy stance , Ronnie Burns for his tube riding ability and Owl and Ken for their big wave balls. There was another guy called Gerry someone who was pretty good but he went to the dark side - moved inland and built 666's for a living so I have blanked him
and he is now in my forgettery.
Try going into Spotlight... or somewhere which sells loads of different fabric styles... or hunt around on the net... here's some images... on the link...

bali prints look pretty good Mac....your there often...grab some next time your there....nice light silks...they wet out reasonably easy.
mac i have just deleted your number...i want to surf with mates...not choooosing another ****ing pattern sweetheart
I think I might hit the delete button too Chrispy!
Unless Mac orders 2 boards the same, so we can go walking down the beach again with matching boards!
Imagine some off white clothe, with stitched in Palm Trees, heavily stitched in with off white cotton...
Then glass that in... You would need to look closely... Subtle Hawaii within plain clear glassing...
Palm trees embossed into this shirt... the pictures don't do it justice...http://www.quiksilver.com.au/mens-tahiti-palms-shirt?default=105746
(I just bought this shirt!)
