Well I just bought one, a rechargeable 18v jobbie, can't believe I've gone this long without one, I love it! These battery ones are nowhere near as loud as the petrol or electrics but have more than enough puff to do what I want.

However I won't be using it before 9am or after 6pm as I know what I think of people that do, my post mowing & whipper snippering cleanup is about a 1/3 of the time of sweeping so I'm happy.

Which one did you get Vanders?

Ryobi One+ 18v.

And to be honest I don't really give a stuff what anyone thinks & I'll stand by that!

I might even buy a second one for the other hand so then I can double the amount I'm blowing around.

I reckon the 18v would be bearable unlike their petrol driven cousins.

After our creek paddle I came home and trimmed the hedges then the fun part, starting my V8 blower and blowing the crap back into the garden.

Vanders is your the auto job like your robot vacuum cleaner

Nah it's not a robot one but you've given me an idea, I might strap it to the top of the robot vacuum and let it work it's way around the yard.

That was a poorly veiled reply...buy two Vanders, its not as though you can really ruin the environment out your way.

But seriously,I'm sick of seeing lazy ****s blow the crap down the street, into their neighbors yard and more importantly it ends up.down the drains...whack the things in reverse and smash it up,then take one minute out of your day and empty it in the bin or five minutes and mulch it... Pretty sad considering you all are on a water sports forum and you all don't give a kcuf on what a menace you all are to the waterways

My wife bought a 12 Volt Black & Decker Vibrator, I mean cordless vacuum cleaner... I scoffed, and told her it would be a waste of money...

But it's one of the best things I she ever bought... I empty and clean it 3 times per week... She sucks everything it up!

Nope I lurk in the paint and gardening section..
.my tradie mate told me when I was single to hang there and pick up. To give the pubs a miss because they are drunken slappers....that the bunnings ladies were independent, capable, house proud and co.k lovers
He was right.....but I have always loved a drunken psycho
