I had a pretty productive patch of work from December through to now...
Is it wrong to hold a few grand back per month, from the wife's prying eyes...? I've got enough money in my little side account for a KTM 500 EXC (new).... When she eventually notices the smell of a new bike, and some Orange Thing in the garage in lieu of the current Red one... is it wrong to tell her the upgrade cost was $2,500...?
I also wish TNT Express could just ring me to confirm a McTavish Delivery Date & Time... That way I have a good chance of sneaking it into the garage un-noticed!http://www.ktm.com.au/bike.php?bike=252
As long as she doesn't see the taxes.....
I think a surfboard is pretty easy to sneak into the garage.....especially when covers are used and a nice second hand option presented itself for a good trade a few weeks later
Simondo, your new board should not be an issue, the new bike yep tell her the change over figure is 2.500 and your old bike is losing too much money and needs to go before its worth nothing.
Just on the purchase thing,I'm driving my wife up to the big smoke to pick up a new car for her tomorrow, her current EOS has just 17000 on the clock but its four years old and would be worth jack in a year or two.
Note to self,I don't think there well be a problem when I order my next board.
Give,take,share and enjoy,that's my life
I used to have a KDX 200 - loved that beast although it was none too popular with the cows and sheep. The trusty old XR four strokes were our main weapon of choice.
Didnt you say the monster doesnt get much of a go Simondo, maybe get on the duc more and leave the dosh in the bank.
Mac, I wish I had room in the garage for your EOS, the wife would love it. Hell, I might even let her drive me down the Great Ocean Road in it!
Doggie, no problem, come over for a spin.
Boof, sounds great! I've been watching a few vids on the 500. Seems like a coin toss between the 450... The 500 is a low revver, unless you are a pro and giving it some stick. Dakar (South America) bikes are now the 450's, modified.
Funny comments from Chrispy, Ted, Stuk & Scotty.
Many great moto & Dakar vids out there... this is just one of them.
ummm, nice bike or whatever your suppose to say,
but is this really the place to be talking motorbikes
