had it for 35 years in one form or another.standard bike was pretty plain so decided to go a bit different.just finished making the seat for it.It goes like sh..t off a stick too.I wish I was 30 years younger to really push it to its limits but geez I love riding it.
Making hay while the sun shines, yesterday the dealer was a little late getting the car sorted and after the hour of how this and that works we hit the road smack into peak hour from Brisbane to make our way home,p-ssing with rain roads blocked with traffic all trying to get out of the city,2.5 hours later we are home this should be a hour max.
Stuff that and thousands do this everyday. Now I say faaark that
Dont miss the Sydney traffic Mac used to take me an Hour 20 mins to do 43 kms to my depot, we have one set of lights in Murwillumbah and I find myself with the shiz when they turn red
love the bike Tankchamp its got heaps of character, my father inlaw in Sydney has to ancient ducatis in peices stored in his shed they belong to a woman up the road from them who is going through a divorce I have told him I want first bid if she decides to sell
thanks guys.I also know where lots of old nortons, triumphs etc are stored in sheds. The owners are all old farts who wont sell and wont restore them. They live in a false dream that one day their kids will restore them.
then after battling that sort of traffic you come home to surf with 500 other people.gotta love the gold coast
mac just do what I'm hoping to do.stay where you are and just travel to different places to stay away from the crowds.
I have lots of favourite bikes, but this is my current every day.
On a trip over the Bridle Track from Bathurst to Hill End.
I also have a 1982 Harley which I can't find a photo of because my expanded drive is toast.....
