Watched a good movie last night - have you been watching any good ones? Or no time with The Voice being back on

The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Some grunty themes in it and well worth a watch.

Drift Trailer #1 from world wide mind films
from ben@world-wide-mind.com PLUS 3 months ago NOT YET RATED
world wide mind films presents the dramatic feature length film; Drift.
Starring Sam Worthington (Avatar), Xavier Samuel (Twighlight) and Myles Pollard (Wolverine)
Directed By Morgan O'Neill and Ben Nott. Produced By Tim Duffy, Michelle Bennett and Myles Pollard.
Based on true events, Drift is a story set on Australia's spectacular and rugged coastline in the early 1970s.
It begins in a remote coastal town with the two Kelly brothers, who spend their youth searching for the perfect wave.
Out of necessity the family launch a backyard surf business; re‐thinking board design, crafting homemade wetsuits and selling their new surf gear out of their van.
Battling killer waves, small town conservatism and hard-core criminals, the brothers persevere, daring to dream of a world where they can surf to live and live to surf.
A story of passion and corruption, deadly addictions and fractured relationships, Drift tells a tale of courage and the will to survive at all odds.

Just finished watching it CMC - I loved it. The GF and a mate up from Sydney were less impressed.....they are not big fans of doco's though. Its an amazing story and one well worth watching. His tunes are super groovey and would go well on the beergarden board movie

Just watched this one Ted, with the wife and teen (who has seen it before and read and loved the book). It's a beauty. Cheers.
Morning of the Earth soundtrack and Rodriguez were on high rotation at parties when i was a young surfer. Will now put that doco on the must-see list.
