Newcastle have an absolutely sensational team across the park Mac. I agree with you almost. A fantastic back line with a tonne of speed, 2 very good play makers and some very long in the tooth quality forwards. The Chooks have been the team that I thought should win it this year......but after last night I am not so sure of that anymore and after watching the Knights last week I am not so sure they will even make the final. I will not be having a punt on this game at this stage - been a good w/e already so will wait to see how it unfolds before having a lash if at all.
SBW has been rather quiet of late - maybe he is due a big one. I guess part of me wants the Chooks to win so that he will leave them with the job done next year and come back to where he belongs - Rugby Union

I do not rate Pearce as a general rule but have seen him do 2 great things already. Jeremy Smith must still think he is at Melb Storm.

I do not think the Knights should have taken those 2 points.....you are going to need a few to win tonight and having a fresh set of 6 whilst having them marching backwards was as good a time as any to score a try.
