Bit like the block of beachfront land at 1770 I was offered for $20000 about 20 years ago during a divorce settlement ., and knocked back . Bugger I could have been retired on the profits from that one if I had gone through with it .

I hear ya pain - I almost brought a block of land overlooking Indicators and the Valley at Raglan back in 1995 for the pricey sum of $50k NZD. I have never forgiven myself. Every time I look at the house thats now been built there I want to jump of the nearest cliff. Idiot. I had a hangup over the services - in those days the power lines ended and it was going to cost a small fortune for mains power or I would have had to run off a generator. Foolish.

$250K for this one. I'd need to paint it though, probably bare metal respray to Gun barrel grey....

You have to love the "Coke Bottle" curves of cars & times gone by - beautiful set of wheels ....superannuation dough would suit that nicely cheers CM

After reading this thread I can see how it may have appeared.
I didn't take a 'breather' cause of my one hit 'chow' wonder thread FFS.
FFS if the posts on that thread got to me I must be the weakest **** on earth.
Nobody on that thread got personal with me anyway. I guess a harmless thread got hijacked by a few do-gooders and jumped on the racist theme.
I check in here 20 - 30 times a day and at times it can be distracting. Oct to Xmas is my busiest time at work and I have just been focusing on that.
By nature I am 'all or nothing' and at times struggle with moderation.

For example, yesterday I completed the Seven Bridges walk in Sydney. It's a 27 km course around Sydney Harbour which takes in 7 bridges (funny that). So with no lead up training other then walking the dog I rego'd the night before and at 7:47am yesterday I commenced my walk. It took me 4 & 1/2 hrs and didn't realise how many farkin hills there are over northside. At the midway point I felt a slight niggle in my upper right calf (probably from lack of warm up stretches) and knew it would get worse and it did. The last 8k was a killer. As much as it hurt it was a good feeling to experience some pain again. Although I didn't run a marathon it certainly felt like I did.
A cruisy 6k walk and back to Coogee would have made more sense but 'all or nothing'. If I don't post much it's cause I am focusing on other things but am not too far away.
