Is a bit wrong . But then the blues have that big kiwi prop Tamou running out for them and I can recall at least one Qld halfback from Ipswich and one Qld winger from Bundaberg donning the blues jersey in state of origin

But yea the eligibility rules are a bit dodgy

Actually, it's your first Rugby League club, not where you were born.

So...... All the song does is prove once again that QLD is better than anywhere else in every way as people from all over move here to live.

Take it from me, I was born in Victoria, I moved here when I was 9 and I am never going back.......

Sorry Mr Details. It's actually the Senior debut. Like all good people (including yourself Mr Cru) he left Kempsey (or in your case Sydney) and moved to QLD where he went to school and played football through high school and seniors before being picked up by the Storm.

I guess under 5's does not count??

I do recall at time that Inglis made his allegiance with QLD that his own family were shocked by his decision - that says a lot.

So what you all as NSW supporters are really saying is that you'd really prefer the original State of Origin selection rules where the players were from the state that they played A-Grade in??

Do you think that would help you to win a game? You're digging deep for an excuse as to why you keep losing.

I guess it really stings eh? Never mind darlings, it will be OK.

Maybe just change the wording from State of Origin to State of first game or similar.....or just leave it as State of Origin and make it where you are born. Pretty simple really I would have thought

Chris, you play A grade at the end of your career when nobody else wants you. Not too many A graders running around in NRL. The criteria needs to be overhauled no doubt. I think it where you play your first junior game after turning 16 - but that's not concrete. And yeh it stings.

What next Qld..??.?

Western Sydney Izzy folau. Or maybe even NZ.. Karmichael hunt! Toni Carroll, brad thorn??. And the list goes on....

Stings ?yes. but i doubt i would get as much pleasure from a series win as 05 when the cowgirls were sent home by the tigers...

Exception... James Tamou, palmerston north is actually 20 k's north of Wagga...

Geez Weiry, don't bring common sense into it mate.

You see, there must be a greater reason why NSW have lost so many times, it's QLD cheating you see, how else could a great state like NSW lose????

No we don't but seriously this thread is just ****, have a look at the responses..... Not the video, it's funny..

I had the photo for weeks and didn't post it cause yes it is offensive, that's why I didn't post it and have deleted it..

Apologies Weiry, I didn't post it cause I knew some good people would get offended but got sick of some of the **** on here, it's almost like the Gen forum in here sometimes.

Yeah it was slightly full on. Sorry about that mate.. And the others.

he actually has a good rep down here, I think the days of hating people for just being from Qld are gone. seeing them in the club comp has ruined it . I still think Wally is a wanker

And i agree with the media thing... for every bad story you read, there is a whole lot of other blokes who are doing heaps and using there profile to help people but you don't hear about it cause good news doesn't make the daily News.

I reckon its mint that NSW & QLD have such farking passion about the Origin games - the GayFL used have this rivalry between WA & Vicco when we had them , geez they were ferocious games - the week leading up to each game brought out every mongrel feeling - even the papers fought aamongst themselves - farking great stuff I miss it , it's why I like league so much actually .... carn the Bears

You are spot on pup
AFL would love to have a Origin like NRL
and NRL would love to have crowds for weekend games like AFL.

The major problem was Teams didn't want their topline players getting injured in the Furnace of the origin games , so pressure was put on them to withdraw from the squads - which duly happened.
The AFL season is too long if you include the Pre-season format - reduce the number of games and make it compulsory for players to be made available if selected is the way to go.

pup what i could see as a QLDer living in VIC for a bit was
league players are not only playing for origin they are playing for an Australian jersey and a Aus jersey in league is everything, you play world Cup, tri nations and all countries in League tests and in ALF an Australian team ONLY plays IRLAND with a round ball and a soccer net , its not even the same game< sorry mate but its FARCKEN sad in league no player is worring about a loacal game when it comes down to Origin or playing for Australia, becourse thats the pinical of there sport, you could be the greates player in AFL and all you realy have is the GF to look forwade to IMO
