Hi Guy's,
Heres a few photos of the new board I'm doing. Its a 6 x 22 x 2 1/2 quad egg...hence the Quegg name. I am working on a concave into single v-chanel bottom....I have given it a what I call a thong tail...mostly beacuse it looks like the back end of my thongs

Thong tail

Quegg Rocker

Quegg Nose

And here are some shots of the Qunt that I just finished and am getting ready to glass

Nice work Tux - thanks for sharing....that Quegg will be an interesting piece of machinery when she is all finished - looks like its very flat. I like the look of the Qunt - what are the dims on it? I think my next one is going to look very similar. Please keep the pics and updates coming.

If I could find a dust mask in his size I wouldn't be able to get him out of there!!

Dimensions on the Qunt are 6'4 x 21 x 3...I took the front half of my CI biscuit and put it on the back of the CI black bueaty. Waves down here seem to be real fat on take and alternate between real fast sections and real fat sections the idea is to get a board that paddles well and keeps speed through the fat while still having enough bite to go into and above the lip on the steep sections. The Quegg is just an idea I have about creating lift when you lean forward and then getting that water that runs around the concave to funel into the chanel so that when you step back to turn you get a squirt of speed....the Quegg has more rocker than the Qunt

Got some work done in the last week and managed to take a couple of shots

The v-channel cut and the concave marked out

the ghetto rocker jig

Board is 98% ready for glassing just donw to the final sanding....not overly happy with how its turned out to be honest....I like the bottom contours but I think I cocked up the outline and the foil a bit...oh well live and learn...putting the v-channel in was heaps of fun....

Any chance you could put some more high res pics up? I would love to see the v-channel cut in a bit more detail.

When are you going to glass her? Any tints / sprays?

How deep have ya gone? They look deep in the pics - but I guess after glassing they will not be so pronounced perhaps?

Thanks guys...from meory its about a half inch deep at the tail....this may be why the foil looks so out of kilter as I had to leave enough meat in to get the channel....its all about zen balance...lol
