What I meant to say is, glad to hear your thoughts on the scorpion, I want one.
Unfortunately or furtunately depending on how you look at it, the missus and I are saving our pennies for a trip to Europe in May, so a new board is not going to happen soon , but the scorpion seems to be the way to go.

Rune, if I could only own one board for the rest of my life I would have a 7'4 Scorpion Tuflite.

I wear a rashie so the skinny guys don't get a complex about my abs.I'd wear a Makaha mask if I could find one because I'm so good lookingDid I mention I'm
a great surfer too boot, god life must suck being you

Some of us have a little more "insulation" than others. I can go in a rashie while my son will be shivering in a Springy

Hey if you cant take the p-ss out of yourself, you really cant have a go at anybody
Most of you guys have met me and haha and the laughs on me,love it

Ended up taking the scorpion out for a run in some small mush just up from snapper. Great fun with plenty of volume and quicker than I'm used to with the four fin setup. It did feel a little top heavy with the round nose and pointy tail but got my head around it after a few waves... Think it's a keeper should work well down cottesloe and down south in the smaller stuff

Unfortunately I think you're gonna need a LB or SUP just to get moving on the waves predicted for the next few days. Hope you enjoy the Goldy - Mark

That could have been me!

I have been surfing a 702 FW ADDvance. This thing has more float that my 902 Munro. Had a good time on it this morning.

Yes mate - pba is the pick now but it wasnt really good until about 7 this morning - and I was done by then. Strong NE wind here at the moment so who knows what the morrow will bring. I will probably be at pba at 5.15 ish.

Oh - LL had excellent waves this morn' from what I could see from pba.

G'Day Vanders. Wish I was at Snapper LM today. Raining and rubbish here today.

Onshore mush! But there is swell. Need to find a protected corner today.

Morning Mac. The weather is so bad here.... You can barely see the surf on the cams....

Rain on the lens, but trust me... MUSH!

Tiny lines at Lorne Point... A good 45mins away, and probably not worth the effort!

7'4 Scorpion Tuffy - yes very good call. Since it would a board for life, it would tick the durability box... Plus the pin tail will handle a little bit of juice, and act like a semi-gun if you need it too. But big enough in volume for fun on small days.

I know there was a thread on 1 board quiver a while back...

I would gravitate towards something that resembled an 8'0 Scorpion, with a pointier nose. It would be similar to my 8'0 Triple Stringer, but with a little tail area.

I ended getting the scorpion and pretty stoked with it. Great all rounder and even had a bit of a long board feel to it at a sesh at the pass today. So cheers for the advice. I will however have to send it back west from the gold coast as jetstar are farkers....any recommendations?
