All these new forum topics and I don't fit in any where............

No surprise there...............

My favorite shortie..........

"Bouncing Betty "

Found in a skip bin in Byron.......

Took it home...............repaired it,put the fin in,it goes unreal...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Home for 4 years when I lived in Byron.

The odd visitor........

The last board I ordered...The shaper rang and asked "what color do you want it"
I replied "Red or Yellow"

The "Tentardis"....

4 man tent, ripped, torn,no zips that worked and covered with what seemed to be an endless restock of tarps.
Inside there was a futon so lounge during the day, double bed at night.
Fridge,microwave,tv,playstation2,4 boards,2 kites and Dudedog....

Funniest rip in the tent was when Dudepuppy saw a Magpie through the front zipped section, charged right through, huge hole in it,,to funny.

Living in Byron had its good days, however I did get over it.....
Maybe if I had a car at the time it may have made it better....
Still had a good time...

It was thru a fund raiser for the Qld floods. Mac was there, he even paddled a 666. Jacko and a couple of others paddled 666 for 24 hours straight. Lots of raffles and Owen Wright came down and had a chat with me and my son. How could I not end up with a signed board from him (although I had to part with some $$$ for charity)

In regards to fin set up's on mid lengths, is there any particular features you need on the blank (ie. certain concaves, tail shapes etc..) to make it work as both a flowing, arcing single fin as well as a belt the lip thruster with side fins and a smaller single fin?

Always wondered this, love the midlengths and would be keen to have one that gives the option of both, I know of a couple of people who have shrunk fireball designs down to the high 7 foot range and gone 2 + 1 set ups.

Sorry for delay. Technical problems, and whilst trying to figure out what is going on, I just noticed something very very spooky on the computer.... My computer has a whole heap of "re-named" jpg photo files... Basically any photo I have taken that has a face in it, is duplicated, with the face cropped, and renamed...

For example...
Take a photo of two people and the file is called "IMG_011.jpg" and there are two more files with cropped faces called "IMG_011_face01.jpg" and "IMG_011_face02.jpg".

Weird big brother sh!t going on here !!
