Worth doing? Whaddya reckon? Any (be nice!) nominees?

A couple of suggested categories . . . Open Men's Champion, Rookie of the Year, Quote of the year (I kinda liked TB's "It's Christmas for Christ's sake" from a week or two ago ) , Frother of the year . . .????????

One certainty with the bookies: Comeback of the year: Lacey.

A few thoughts on this super thread idea

Jas gets the "Mark Waugh" award - inspired by SP - for having the second nicest board in his family

The "Buddha" award goes to Chrispy who always speaks his mind n long May it continue disclaimer I have spent the last three days examining Buddhist ruins

???If you propose to speak, always ask yourself, is it true, is it necessary, is it kind.??? ~Buddha

The " disappearance award # 2 " goes to Tassie Devil - clearly lost in the 666 world and too embarrassed by it - do not worry TD others have been down this road before you. I know you are out there MR also comes in a close second - although he was away for a decent chunk of the year legitimately

The "best potential to contribute more" award goes to SA for his late but much enjoyed arrival to the greenroom. His posts, pics n videos have been much enjoyed by me and I am sure many others. Rumour has it has has brought more boards than LL, Mac n Asea in the last year DJ comes in second. Although he not really a long boarder he does his best to share the joys when it's comes his way. Anyway he is SB legend and I like his contributions.

The " make me spit my beer out all over my keyboard" award goes to obct once more with Weiry a close second after catching me napping a few times. I now make sure I never have a drink of anything near my connection device before viewing their posts

The "informative n knowledge sharing" award goes to Simondo for reasons previously mentioned

The "pimp my ride" award goes to.......no guesses here.....Mac for his unadulterated love of the McT n Bob. Simondo runs a close second. We love to abuse them for this but secretly we love it . Chrispy should also get a mention here but his love of SDR seems to be on a more professional level ...at the moment. DJ would get it for the broader breeze community

The "all things beauty" award goes to RG for his timeless creations that I ogle over every time I see pics of his creations posted here. Pup comes in second as he loves all things RG and all things beautiful

Tux gets my award for "services to the backyarder" have loved his contribution to the board making space...even if he is a little light on pics. Definitely room for improvement

Vanders gets my "services to glassing"award, "best post" award and "most inspiring" award for his video of the lady of many colours vid. Everyone I have sent that too has enjoyed it immensely as well. Hats off.

I also I strongly support TB, SP, Scotty and Teacake's awards. Much deserved.

Is a shin dig a pi55 up ?
Just to clarify.
Btw Lace, stoked you are ok after your HA.
It just wasn't your time brother.
I recall a guy called Peter Lacey from Surfers surf club who died of a heart attack about 8-10 years ago. This guy was 50 years old and by all accounts one of the fittest guys on the Goldy - any age.
Hope you bought a lottery ticket.
